Eee so the models that will be available this year are being unveiled! They are so lovely!
First up is Finnigan:
I do still want the resin form for my collection... But I can't justify purchasing one at the minute, let alone from the States... This one is priced at £69.95 I think which I thought was pricey initially but all of these editions are going to be almost like SRs. The company is also starting out, so no doubt these prices might decrease!
Priced at £59.95. I am not keen on this model only because I am not a fan of the mould itself but still, the new painters for these models are doing a fantastic job!
I can't wait for more to be revealed. I saw on a CF image a photo of a palomino welshie...?!
I really like Finnigan but I don't think I can justify spending so much on him (although he's probably very worth it) - in my head anything that comes in as "more than a Julip" has to be a serious grail model to be justified. Perhaps like you say the price will come down in the future and I'll be able to buy one.
Yeah, the prices put me out of the running, too, now we're finding out how much the range are going to cost I know they'll just be something I admire from afar and never actually buy. A bit like Peter Stones are these days - I've got a lot from when they were cheaper but since the costs went sky-high they're just pretty horses to look at online and not collect
There's no such thing as too many models, only not enough shelves.
I think the only reason I'm going to be able to get one is because I'm going to the tour day in Stirling, and attendees get 10% off! Even then I'm unlikely to be able to afford one easily. That said, I'm happy to save for one and support them - we've got a rare opportunity to help bring on a home grown company after all!
