I also found half a shetland shell while I was rearranging them, and I don't know if it's the same half I'd already seen, or whether I happened across the second half, and can now make it into a whole pony if I can find the first half - the trouble with tidying, once things get moved you lose track of them

She's a portrait model, so a one off. She's beautiful, one of my favourites.
The roan next to her is a portrait model too, of a pony called Ceska I think her name was, it's possible she was the inspiration for Strawberry Fayre because that persie was created not long after and is SO similar. This portrait has four colours in her mane though, I think Strawberry Fayre has two? The lady who did the majority of the painting until they were sold in the late 80's said that they got the inspiration for a lot of their persies from portrait models.
